Sep 8, 2010 2:42 AM Hey ladies, I feel strongly about the use of a more ordinary naturally beautiful women in the media, rather than very thin, airbrushed models. I noticed a competition by the beauty brand 'simple' to become the face of their brand. They have named it search for a simple star. www.simple.co.uk/Simple-Star/Winners-List-Grid.aspx I thought this was a fantastic opportunity to find someone more 'ordinary' and show they can still do a fantastic job and infact probably better as its much more believable. I hate that we are made to think we should all look tall and skinny with blonde hair. I wondered if anyone else had any opinions on the use of models in media and the affects its having on young girls crash dieting and wearing far to much make up. guideafrica Traveling single Sep 6, 2010 4:40 AM I want to go for a vacation. Most probably a safari to a national park in Namibia or Rwanda , Africa. My problem is that my husband does not have time to go with me and all my friends are too busy to go for a holiday with me. So, I have to travel alone. What should I do or prepare in order to travel single and still have fun on my vacation?
